Tseung Kwan O Bay, Hong Kong. October 2011.
Let me tell you the first time I went sailing. When I say sailing, I don’t mean a cruise. I mean sail-ing. Ropes. Pulleys. Sails. Cockpits. Decks. Yankee. Stays. Starboards. Masts. Tacks. The first time I went sailing, I went sailing for 8 days around Hong Kong with 15 other men on board, where we worked, ate and slept the whole time. I will clarify that 12 of them were my participants, and three of them were my colleagues. But anyway. The first time I went sailing, I experienced seasickness for the first time. And fed the fishes. The first time I went sailing, strong winds blew us to incredible places, and overall it blew my mind. Now I understand why people go sailing.
